Outreach Africa began in 1996. Since that time God has done amazing things through the Darlene Matthews Ministry for the people of Malawi. Orphan
This seems to be a time of the changing of seasons here at the Ministry Church. We don’t knowwhere God is going, but we feel His leading strongly. Our part is to get prepared. As always, thefirst step must be a genuine, heart-felt repentance as the Holy Spirit reveals our sins andshortcomings. We must draw nearer to God.Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 reminds us to everything there is a season. Things that are appropriate forone season are not always needed or wanted in another season. For example, a big heavy parkadesigned to keep us warm in winter is certainly not needed in the heat of the summer. Seasonscome and go in our lives. It is a wise person who knows the season he or she is in. Only theHoly Spirit can reveal this to you, IF you ask Him.As you face your trials and temptations, remember to trust the Lord. He always knows best. Hechanges the seasons, not us. I’ve been in seasons before when I couldn’t wait for them to end, butGod was not ready, and I’m sure I was not ready. I was just being impatient. I have lived longenough to know when a season changes, God may insist that I get out of my comfort zone andstep out in faith with Him. I must conquer my resistance and reluctance to move forward. We thank God when He reveals His instructions to us. We want to understand what is happening.Whatever season you may find yourself in, God is faithful. He will help you. He promises to bewith you. Don’t be afraid of the changing of the season. Embrace it. Keep your heart right. And,answer, “Let’s go God! I’m ready! Your Will be done!”
